If you are a chiropractic educator, researchers at the University of Cambridge are looking for your input into a new study of the culture of your profession.

As we are all aware, there has been a recent increase in the number of educational establishments offering professional training courses in the field of chiropractic. With this increased capacity for pre-registration training comes an increase in the demand for professionals to fulfil the role of chiropractic educators.
Understandably, resources have been put into raising the profile of the profession and developing educational standards and outcomes. However, partly as a result of this research into the academic needs of the chiropractic educators themselves has been largely neglected.
This study aims to discover the self-perceived identity of chiropractic educators, where and how have they attained their teaching skills and their thoughts on the need and provision of professional development.
To date, no similar research has been done in this field, and volunteers are being sought to participate in this study. All that you will be required to do is to partake in an online interview that will take approximately 45-60 minutes,
To find out more about the study and how you can partake, listen to the first edition of Academic Chiropractic's 'Back Issues' podcast.
